How to steep loose herbs
Water, time and patience: a simple method for a good cup.

Loose herbs reward a little patience. This is the method we use at home.
Start with fresh, just-boiled water. Use about a teaspoon of herbs for each cup.
Cover while it steeps. A lid or saucer keeps the aromatics in the cup. Most herbs are happy with five to ten minutes.
Taste, then adjust. Steep longer for a stronger cup, or add more water to soften it.
